5 Simple steps to effect CHANGE in LIFE

Our daily living is crammed with options, isn't it?
How many times do we get the most from ours and opt for the "glass is half full" options so that we can live life in a far more purposeful and satisfying way.
Step # 1. Love Yourself and Others Unconditionally.

Many among us actually withhold love as a method of managing our environment along with circumstances. It leaves a person incomplete in your own private life and results in you resentment. Others resent you and you have zero trust or regard for others. To love devoid of condition means that you don't have any strings attached. You do not expect anything in return for your expressions of love. There is no judgement or repercussions with regards to what exactly the individual that is the actual person receiving the love does with it. This really is highly freeing for you personally.
Love is really an action word. Therefore conduct your life by loving others. In the beginning they will not understand what to do with this, but the eventual end result is that it's going to change, not simply your life, but also the lives of individuals you effect. Find a way to express unconditional love.

"Step # 2. Make the Impossible, Possible

"The pessimist sees difficulty in every opportunity. The optimist sees the opportunity in every difficulty."- Winston Churchill

If you think it cannot materialize; then it won't. It is possible to live through the trying times in your life. Learn by failures and take responsibility for your life. Hearing your inner critic can sabotage your goals. Quiet the critic by means of reaffirming all the things you are able to do. Dream big and be enthusiastic with regards to your future. Find and unleash your untapped talents. Have faith in your abilities and discover what you have to provide society. Consider all the things it's not possible to accomplish and then try to accomplish them. Remember an occasion, when something ended up being tough and you made it possible to prevail over the challenge. Continuing to live a life life within a risk-free container does not help you acquire anything in your life. Take the vital actions to achieve your objectives. Quit presuming and start accomplishing!

Step # 3. Don't be afraid to Take Risks

"There came a time when the risk to remain tight in the bud was more painful than the risk it took to blossom." - Anais Nin

All things in life calls for a risk. If you take risks then you can get rid yourself from restricting beliefs. Taking risks allows you to ultimately take charge of your life. Be curious about life; experiment and try new things. Create plans for yourself and take action. Come out of what's risk-free, comfortable and familiar for you. Study just what sensations arise when you find yourself considering taking a risk. Enquire of yourself, "What am I afraid of?" Camouflaging yourself inside a protected box stops you from looking into other possibilities. Embrace the unfamiliar and assume success. You will never know the final result if you don't go ahead and take risk.

Step # 4. When faced with possible setbacks, say "Yes" to life.

"Be not afraid of life. Believe that life is worth living, and your belief will help create the fact." -Henry James

Yes is among the most magic words in a person's life. Once you just say "Yes" to the opportunities in life, you open up the doorway to success and future possibilities. Set your own standards and dare to live by them. Allow yourself to say yes when making decisions without asking agreement or looking for the blessing of others. When confronted with a option to participate in a relationship that will support and motivate you, say Yes. Say Yes to forgiveness. Work on your attitudes and outlook on a daily, no, make that a minute-by-minute basis. Say yes to a professional change that promises the things you want in your life. Make it possible for yourself to live a life centered on truth rather than the anxieties and stinking thinking that restricts and confines. Say Yes to life!

Step # 5. Leave a positive, lasting impression with your life.

"How we spend our days is, of course, how we spend our lives." - Annie Dillard

Ask yourself this question, " What exactly will I be remembered for when I am no longer here?" Or, more to the point, "What do I want to be remembered for?" The way you live your life actually identifies your legacy in advance , and your judgements and choices pinpoint how you live your life. Begin today by impacting those around you with your words and actions . Show gratitude to others and appreciation for their contributions. It's your choice. It starts right now. Whatever your message is, share it with those that will pay attention. You never fully understand who will hear it.

Tips on LEADERSHIP SKILLS

As we all know, leaders should at all times present themselves with great confidence and self-control.
We must learn to master ourselves as Lao Tzu says, "Mastering others is strength, mastering yourself is true power". During important business meeting if you are not comfortable with yourself, how can you be comfortable when you are around other people? This is what portrays true leadership skills.

1. Listen & Understand others:
Anyone in an executive position must first learn to understand others before achieving organizational objectives. When you seek to understand the needs of others, they will return the favor in an amazing way.

2. Involve all Stakeholders in group discussion:
Involvement of all parties in setting plans leads to harmonization of group objectives which is aided and enhanced by effective communication. Leadership skills require you as a leader to find common goals among members. This can best be achieved when everybody feels that they have contributed and not when they feel like they have been left out or manipulated.

Having leadership skills is all about service, humility and motivation.

Great leaders stimulate minds and develop potentials. The strongest weapon is neither nuclear nor atomic but the will to fight.

3. Include Fresher(s) in your Team:
It would be much better to opt for a team of average qualified personnel who are eager to produce results than have a group of bored but highly qualified professionals.

4. Appreciate Team Members:
One must learn to appreciate the efforts and skills of his teammate / subordinates by manner of rewards and other incentives. A person with good leadership skills does not use dictatorship, but instead he/she is full of humility and respect.

5. MOTIVATE:
GREAT LEADERS motivate team members in such a way that that the team has to do the task because they themselves want it to be done.

How to Stay POSITIVE

As we all know, technologies allow us to work smarter, faster and more efficiently and plays a very important role in our daily life though it has some side effects. However, the downside is that we can get carried away by advanced technologies. We sometimes try to cram too many things in our life. Hence, creating stress and anxiety that may get the better of us.

1. Stay Positive And Take Care of Yourself

As each and everyone of us needs to work extra hard to keep up with the demands. First step is not to get carried away by your work. Your career is important but health is the most precious thing in life. You need to be healthy in order to be productive in your work. I am sure you will agree with me that without good health, everything will crumble!

If You start feel like you should always be doing something productive then you must identify steps to take care of yourself (while taking consistent action to be productive) which is ultimately the most productive thing you can do. When you have given yourself proper rest and permission to do whatever you want once in awhile, you will be better able to focus great efforts on the other things in your life that matter.

2.Exercise Regularly To Beat Stress

Exercise can help to beat stress. If You are not able to go to gym to have a good and effective exercise, you can just walk in the park and enjoy the surrounding fresh air for 30 minutes.

I know that we all have a very busy work schedule these days. But we can't ignore exercise because our body needs it. You will feel a lot more healthy and more productive at work if you exercise regularly.

People who make time for regular exercise will have lower stress levels. Also, remember to give yourself a proper amount of time for rest. Get 6-8 hours of sleep at night and avoid the temptation to stay up doing something else with that time.

3. Self Reflection

Self reflection is very important in life. It allows us to have a better perspective in life. "Mind Over Matter"; perhaps you have heard about this phrase before. It is a very powerful statement! The mind is a very powerful thing; "What the mind can conceive; it can achieve". If you think positive, you will feel and act positive! Surrround yourself with positive people and stay away from negative people!

When you reflect on your life, you can concentrate on the meaning of it all. You will be more likely to truly enjoy your journey. It is so easy to let life pass you by if you don't take some time to reflect.

4.Learn To Deal with Stress Naturally

Whether you like it or not, stress is part of our lives! You will experience stress from time to time during your daily routine, it is very normal. However, what is important here is your ability to monitor the amount of stress that you are experiencing and prevent it to overwhelm your life. If you allow too much stress to creep into you, it can cripple and destroy you!

Therefore, it is very important that you learn how to deal with stress effectively. Do what you can to relieve your stress in a healthy way. Avoid using prescription medication or drugs. Focus on the natural stuff like taking up a yoga or meditation course. Work on relaxation and breathing techniques.
As long as you are doing something to relieve your stress naturally, you will be able to jump back into your fast paced life with a positive attitude.

I am sure if we use and apply the above tips then most of us will be able keep stress at bay.

How to sustain MOTIVATION in TEAM till GOAL is achieved ?

Motivation is a term generally associated with the word with human behavior, meaning, and a state of mind that moves us to action.
Probably the first question to be answered in a discussion of motivation is “What makes us do anything?
e.g.: Why am I writing articles in my blog / website?
Why are you reading it?
Our needs for sustenance, safety, security, belonging, recognition, and a sense of growth and achievement become strong drivers (motivators) of behavior.
The subject of motivation is, at once, simple and complex. Simple, in that it explains much of what we see happening in human behavior, yet complex when it poses contradictions.
For example, the need to nourish ourselves is strong, and hunger will drive us to extreme actions, particularly in the case of extreme hunger. However, how does one explain a hunger strike? How can you explain the actions of someone who has died because they chose not to eat? The psychologists will say that a higher level need took over....perhaps the need to make a point about an issue that, to the person, was larger than life itself.
So as we attempt to understand motivation, we need to appreciate the subtleties that exist in human behavior, and focus our attention on general principles of motivation that have wider application. At least if we can understand some of these principles, we might be better prepared to lead or facilitate a long-term, highly motivating team experience.
Decision making begins as soon as you want to be part of a Team, Isn’t it? You’ve been asked to participate on a team to accomplish some task. Immediately your decision-making process begins.
• What is the purpose of the team?
• Is it a topic that interests me?
• Who will be on the team with me?
• What kind of authority will we have?
• Is it important to management?
• What is the reward for participating?
• What is the risk (perceived as punishment) for not participating?
• How long will it run?
• Will I be better off as a result of my participation?
These are some of the questions we ask ourselves when faced with an invitation to participate in some kind of team. Are they typical questions? Of course. Do they relate to our motivation to participate? Certainly.
Sometimes, however, we are not given the opportunity to refuse participation on a team: for example, a work group or an organization that has restructured itself into self-directed work teams. In these cases, by default, we are part of the group or team.
Nevertheless, in either case, motivation can rise or fall depending on a myriad of factors. Let’s look at some of them.

Factors Influencing Team Motivation are,
I. Purpose
II. Challenge
III. Responsibility
IV. Growth
V. Leadership
Great leaders have a knack for helping others see the best in themselves, providing the stimulus for self-actualizing behaviors, understand the importance of team purpose, challenge, camaraderie, responsibility, and growth, and focus much of their time on creating the conditions for these to exist.
Great leaders also understand that their team members have needs, and that for motivation to grow and continue, the activities of the team must help in some way to meet these needs.

How to sustain MOTIVATION till we achieve our GOALS ?

A team whose members are aligned with its purpose, feel a challenge in their task, have a strong sense of camaraderie, feel responsibility for the outcome, and experience growth as a team and in their personal lives, will tend to sustain motivation over the long haul.

Do you beleive Ego stroking is useful

As we all know, Human beings by nature are approval seekers. Isn’t it ?

I am sure you will agree with me on the above which is why I believe that most of the time we can influence others by stroking their ego.

How to Influence others by nourishing their ego??

1. Understand ego - It’s the most self-oriented, most personal part of one’s mind. Your ego is your cardinal soul or spiritual substance and regulates your self esteem and mental state. It leads your reaction or response for each action of others directed toward you. The ego molds and influences one’s outlook toward others and toward oneself. It’s by far the most receptive part of one’s philosophical and psychological structure. Having knowledge and understanding of what our ego is and how it leads each action facilitates us to communicate and interact in a more positive and favorable manner.
2. Look for something which you could earnestly admire or compliment as Praising genuinely makes people feel good mentally and physically.
3. Begin by complimenting other individuals with ego nourishment. Praise them with how good looking they are, for the work that they do, what their family does/have, their possessions, etc.
4.Set your own ego aside and stroke others’ egos to get more of what you want. In this practical world of ours, being successful is measured in part by what we own. We judge other people’s successes by what they possess in materialistic point of view. Like it or not, people long for admiration for whatever they have acquired, accomplished, and who they really are not considering the status of life they’re living.

If you want to create miracles, influence others and win their support, then praise them for what they are, what they have or what they do

Qualities of Great Leader(s)

As you know,Leaders are not all the same. They are not the same in who they are or in how they lead. There are qualities that good leaders share.
Most of the good leaders share some qaulities and five important qualities that good leaders share are listed below.

1.Integrity - Is about being consistent in doing the right thing, and being consistent in who you are. Consistent people are easy to work with; you know what response you are going to get, you know what work result you will get.
If you do not have integrity then people will hesitate working with you as they don’t ever know for sure what results you will give, or if you are being truthful.
Tips to improve INTEGRITY:
Figure out who you are and what you want people to think when they think of you?
Make your actions consistent, with whom you want to be, in person, on the phone, on the internet, everywhere.

2.Charisma- is energy with the delivery. No one is going to listen if you can’t deliver it with charisma, even if you have the best information.
Leaders with charisma have found their passion, and deliver it with energy.
Tips To become Charismatic: Find out what you like and care about that is your passion. Find a way to work in your passion.

3.Self confidence.
Be informed in the area you want to be confident and practice public speaking & leadership.
Be confident and know what you are talking about,
repeat continually, never stop trying to grow.

4.Forward thinking - It will be impossible to lead without knowing where you want to go.
A leader must look at where they have been where they are and use that information to help create a growth plan of where they want to be. The where you have been will help you know what is possible. It will also let you know what works and what does not.
Tips: Take some time and write down what you have done, go back as far as you want. Make note of what has been good and bad. This can be done both for work and personal.Think off thing you want. Use the information you have to make a plan of how. Be willing to seek new knowledge to help you achieve these goals.

5.Exemplary- this can tie to some of the above, lead by example. If you are a leader, and you want your team to work hard and fast, you should be doing so and more. Followers will follow at level lower than the leader. People learn by what they see, you will get the best results from your followers by showing.

Tips: Look at what you are doing is it the example you want to set, if not change. When you want to teach something find a way to show, what you want to teach and it can increase the learning speed.

Health & Fitness Resoltions - How to achieve

As today is world health day, i am sure many of us will take resolutions to improve general health and fitness.I know you will agree with me that few of us only remember resolutions and take action whereas the rest doesn't make much progress.

What is the difference.

First and foremost difference is the DESIRE to achieve. All of the great achievers throughout history have one thing in common. They have all been dreamers or desirers. If anyone is to achieve their goals in life then the first thing they need to do is establish what their desires are. That’s what makes people who are highly successful different from the rest – they know exactly what they want in life.

Simply writting goal is insufficient. If anyone is to make any steps towards their definite objectives then they need to have a determined attitude, bordering on obsession, to fulfil that desire.

Whatever desire a person has, it will only be fulfilled if some of the following actions are taken. Firstly a person must realise what it is they need to make them content with their lives and give themselves step by step aims. Then they need to consider how much work they need to put in if they are ever to begin achieving those aims. Next they should set a deadline for reaching their final goal and then create a plan with a timeline highlighting how and when they will go about their tasks. This knowledge must be updated and read out regularly to keep a person on track to satisfying their desire.

All who achieve great things adopt a similar philosophy to follow the process of putting their thoughts into action successfully when backed by a burning desire. Everyone, no matter what their chosen path in life may be, will start in the same situation with nothing but their thoughts and desires to spur them on.

Many people lack self confidence and are unwilling to set their aims higher through fear of failing. The time for everyone to realise their dreams is now. We must continue to follow the same methods of pioneers before us by taking the courage to act upon our thoughts with conviction and fulfil our burning desires. It is important that all negative influences are avoided. There is no excuse for procrastination, and laziness. It is easy for people to say they want to achieve but in reality they will only start to realise their goals once they take those first steps in which they make a plan outlining the route to success.

All achievements no matter how significant they are to others begin with a burning desire to get the result intended. In the human mind there is a power that is hard to explain. It is the ability to focus positive thoughts on achieving the thing that is wanted most. Success is sometimes a thing that at first seems impossible. When a burning desire in a person is so strong the word impossible loses significance.
